I really like this piece. Now, I can't give it a lot of stars because the star criteria don't really reflect what is valuable about this piece. Yes, originality, vision, technique, impact, etc... all matter in certain genres, but not this genre. Once again, art doesn't fit into the rules. So I'm going to let you know I'm biased: I probably know more than a dozen ways to paint clouds, and they've been a constant subject of study for me. That said, you've done a good job here. I like the use of complementary colors to make the clouds stand out, and you've shown that you're not afraid to darken the foreground clouds enough to give them depth. You've got a good focal point with the contrast between the foreground and background clouds. That said, I think you can take this in so many different directions. If you're not familiar with Renee Muccillo, look at his work for an example of where you can go with cloudscapes. Overall, great work.
