Initial impressions: a Pretty piece of work. using luminescence and twilight sun in contiguous zones is a great challenge. I'm impressed.

Originality: the girl encounters mystical beast is way over done, but you did it really well. Thanks for keeping her clothes on. in this case I think more skin would have been a big mistake.

Colour use: quite likable I feel the late, or earliness, of the hour from your palette you have chosen. blends are natural and don't leave my eye or my brain going "Huh, what happened there?"

Structure: your human is very well composed, even though she is turned, I don't have a feel that she has pushed a body part beyond it's natural range of motion. I was captivated by the wonder in her face. in a majestic picture like this it is easy to loose the humaninty of a figure, you nailed it. my only down mark on her is the length of her neck might be a shade longer than correct[if she is demi human that consideration goes away entirely] the tree she is perched in is solid and believable and your forest / clearing feels entirely natural. nice job. The creature, beautiful , not sure where you drew your inspirations from, but it works well; the translucence is beautiful. being your creation, there are no rules for the creature, but it is a credible figure.

Cross culture elements: I don't think I would have put a first peoples/ tribal headdress with a naga or waterhorse [or did I misinterpret something you meant to read as Maya/Olmec in the girl's costume.] the thing is you made it work.

Technique: your choice of where to detail and where to use broad strokes is very good. I just have to wonder about some light splash onto the shadow side of her right leg. your two focal elements do not fight for the viewers eye, but compliment each other well.

Final thoughts: Very nice work. better than anything I am capable of right now. It is both visually and personally pleasing to me. This is a scene I can easily loose myself in, or find a back story for.
Bravo, Brava, Bravi !
